Quiet Presence

  • Medium: Acrylic on paper

  • Size: A3 / A2 / A1 (available in print)

There was a time I thought being visible meant being valued, that to be felt, I had to be seen. Quiet Presence was born from unlearning that. It’s a meditation on solitude, self-trust, and the kind of peace that doesn’t need an audience.

The face, wrapped in colour, is not hiding. It’s healing. Every layer of bandage carries a memory of noise, opinions, expectations, the endless performance of being seen. Beneath it all is stillness, not emptiness. The sunglasses reflect the world back, a reminder that even in silence, we witness and are witnessed.

This piece speaks to the power of existing softly of choosing depth over validation, of being fully yourself without the need for explanation.
It’s about learning that presence, in its truest form, is quiet… but never invisible.
