“Gentle Monster” explores the intersection of identity, art, and perception, where beauty becomes strange, and strangeness becomes beautiful. Inspired by the Korean eyewear brand’s world of unpredictable storytelling, this piece reimagines the idea of a “monster” not as a creature to fear, but as a reflection of the self, stitched from curiosity, chaos, and creation.
It challenges the viewer to look beyond surface aesthetics and confront what lies beneath the lens: how we see, and how we choose to be seen. Both delicate and defiant, Gentle Monster embodies transformation the tension between vulnerability and power, fashion and feeling, art and apparition.
